People are refusing emergency treatment because they are scared of catching COVID-19. Other people want to go to the hospital but cannot because elective surgeries are still off-limit.
Dr. Alberto Casaretto explains the situation at the hospital and why it's important to go to the hospital if you are having an emergency: “If you have medical problems, you need medical attention. The risk to get COVID-19 at the hospital is very small”.
