Lauren received her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Master's of Science in Nursing degree at Columbus State University in Georgia. She completed her clinical practicums in primary care, pediatrics, women's health, obstetrics, and nephrology. She has a career background in intensive care, bone marrow transplant and nephrology. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the National Kidney Foundation. Lauren's role with Florida Kidney Physicians includes outpatient management of chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, hypertension, and dialysis. She is passionate about patient autonomy and improving difficult access to care.
