Korey was born and raised in Miami, FL where he attended Miami-Dade College for his ASN-RN. He worked as a staff/floor nurse at St. Joseph Main Hospital until 2010. He then moved into the role of Hemodialysis nurse until 2015 when he then became a Peritoneal dialysis nurse. He worked as a Peritoneal dialysis nurse until 2021 all the while going to school simultaneously. In 2021 he graduated from Chamberlain University with his MSN in Family Practice and started working with FKP in Feb 2022. He has an extensive knowledge of renal replacement therapies with his 13 years working in dialysis. He enjoys continuously learning and applying his knowledge to help the patient gain understanding and guide them in their health-related issues.
