Clinical Interests
Joan Morales Lappot started his undergraduate education at the University of Puerto Rico, where he majored in Cellular molecular biology. He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico school of medicine and was accepted to start his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Central Florida. There, he realized how sick patients with renal diseases were and how much careful attention they needed. To finish his subspecialty in Nephrology, he decided to train at the University of Florida. He wishes to stay in Florida as part of continuing the plan of bridging the gap between excellent and compassionate health care with those who need it the most.
