Mary Abigael “Abbey” Wright, APRN, FNP-C, was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Far Eastern University NRMF and has been practicing as a nurse since 2010.
She began her career with experience in long-term care, hospice, skilled nursing, and neurology with ventilator/tracheostomy care before joining Fresenius Medical Care in 2018, where she further developed her expertise in nephrology and hemodialysis.
Abbey is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Society of Nephrology. After earning her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Ana G. Mendez, she joined Florida Kidney Physicians as a nurse practitioner specializing in nephrology care.
Drawing from her extensive background in hemodialysis, Abbey has developed strong expertise in dialysis management, vascular access care, and treatment optimization. She collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans while emphasizing patient education and long-term disease management.
Abbey is passionate about improving outcomes in kidney health through early intervention, continuity of care, and patient empowerment.
