Present and Past Positions
Dr. Rothschild was a faculty instructor of clinical medicine at Washington University School of Medicine, while serving as an academic hospitalist. After completing his nephrology training He also spent a year as faculty clinical instructor for USF School of Medicine as an attending Nephrologist at the James A Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa. Prior to joining Florida Kidney Physicians, he was a founding partner of Tampa Renal Physicians with Dr. Ruiz-Ramon in 2005. He has been appointed Chairman of the Division of Medicine Specialties at Florida Hospital – Tampa and serves on its Medical Executive Committee. Additionally, he is medical director of Inpatient Dialysis at Florida Hospital – Tampa. He also serves as co-medical director of Davita Carrollwood.
