Marie S. Erisme, DNP, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, is an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner at Florida Kidney Physicians. She holds both a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nursing and is nationally certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. As a first-generation college graduate and member of the Tri-Alpha First-Generation Honor Society, she is especially passionate about education, access, and advocacy for underserved communities.
Before joining Florida Kidney Physicians, Ms. Erisme cared for patients across hospital and long-term care settings, including roles as a registered nurse at Saint Mary’s Medical Center, Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital, and Trident Medical Center, as well as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner at Quiet Waters Senior Center. In these positions, she managed acute and chronic conditions, monitored complex patients, coordinated care with multidisciplinary teams, and provided education and support to patients and their families.
Ms. Erisme is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care with a strong focus on prevention, early identification of kidney-related issues, and helping patients understand and follow treatment plans that support their long-term health.
