Christian Bolanos specializes in the kidney, particularly kidney transplants, acute and chronic kidney disease management, and hypertension. He is originally from Ecuador, where he graduated from medical school. His medical training continued in Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital in Boston, MA. Then he achieved his lifelong goal of becoming a general and transplant nephrologist at Stanford University, where he gained invaluable expertise in treating complex nephrology cases under the guidance of renowned mentors in the nephrology field. He remains proud to serve a mixed population and always enjoys building a strong patient-doctor relationship.
Dr. Bolanos is happy to join Florida Kidney Physicians in Tampa, FL, where he will assist its diverse population with the goal of improving the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease and kidney transplants. Outside of Medicine, Dr. Bolanos enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dog, soccer, and the outdoors.
