Dr. Tyler Thorne completed his nephrology fellowship at the Univeristy of North Carolina, where he was able to work with some of the world leaders in glomerulonephritis. This spiked his interest in managing this complicated disease process, and he is eager to help patients with this diagnosis here in the Tampa Bay area. His other areas of interest include acute kidney injury, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, polycystic kidney disease, and delaying or preventing dialysis in chronic kidney disease. He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Thorne grew up in the central Florida region. He is excited to be back in Florida and make the Tampa Bay area his home. When not in the hospital, Dr. Thorne can be found with his wife going to sporting events, relaxing at the beach, golfing, or binging the latest Netflix show.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":26351,"menu_order":0,"template":"","team":[12],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/flkidney.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/physician\/26322"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/flkidney.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/physician"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/flkidney.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/physician"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/flkidney.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/physician\/26322\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":26352,"href":"https:\/\/flkidney.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/physician\/26322\/revisions\/26352"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/flkidney.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/26351"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/flkidney.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=26322"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"team","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/flkidney.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/team?post=26322"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
